UST Inc. Summarized The Results of Its Scientific Activities for The First Quarter of 2025

International Competition of Scientific Papers

The acceptance of applications for the International Competition of Scientific Papers has been completed. The event will be attended by 40 representatives of educational institutions from various countries: Belarus, Russia, Uzbekistan, Algeria, India, and Nigeria. For the contestants and their scientific advisors, the staff of Unitsky String Technologies Inc. hosted an online training seminar, during which they provided detailed information about uST technology and the guidelines for processing research results.

Lectures at Universities in Russia and Belarus

The past quarter has been a very fruitful period for the company in terms of cooperation with educational institutions and the organization of lectures there. Representatives of the company presented advanced transport and infrastructure solutions to students and teachers from St. Petersburg universities, including the State Electrotechnical University (LETI) and the State University of Aerospace Instrumentation (GUAP). Moreover, students at the Belarusian State University (the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics) and Belarusian State Economic University (the Faculty of Economics and Management) were also introduced to uST technology. The total number of attendees was approximately 200.

Visits of Delegations 

Last quarter, representatives of the Robotics and Artificial Intelligence Association visited the main office and SW Plant, discussed cooperation in the field of scientific and educational development. Students from the Belarusian State University had the opportunity to get acquainted with the process of uPods’ manufacturing at the production facility, test string rail transport at EcoTechnoPark, and learn about internship and employment at UST Inc.

The Growing Number of Scientific Publications

 During the quarter, UST Inc.'s employees published approximately a dozen scientific articles and presentations from international conferences. The geography of publications has expanded. For example, a study on the advantages of uST transport solutions was published for the first time in the pages of the authoritative Kazakhstani scientific indexed journal Bulletin of KazATC.

Following the successful completion of engineering projects and innovations, eight articles were published in March on Naked Science, Russia's leading science and technology website. Furthermore, the CEO of UST Inc., Nadezhda Kosareva, was quoted in the prestigious financial and economic publication Forbes.  

Participation in Events

Over the recent time, the researchers from UST Inc. have participated in a number of significant gatherings. The report on uST technology was presented at the expert online forum Innovative Transport and Logistics Solutions for Industry. The company’s staff took part as attendees in the International Lean Congress 2025 held in St. Petersburg. And at the unified open day of the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics at Belarusian State University, UST Inc. acted as a guest prospective employer.
