Lectures on uST Transport Technology Were Held at Belarus’ Leading Universities
Unitsky String Technologies Inc. recently hosted lectures at the Belarusian State University (BSU) and the Belarusian State Economic University (BSEU). Both students and faculty were introduced to the string rail transport technology, its innovative design features, operational and economic advantages, as well as its promising implementation prospects.
The first lecture took place at the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics of BSU. Viktor Garanin, the Scientific Secretary of UST Inc., and Sergei Pronkyevich, Head of Mechanical Engineering Calculations Design Office, shared the unique characteristics and diverse applications of uST technology. Particular focus was given to the design and verification calculations for string rail track structures and uPods. Third-year students, in particular, showed great interest in the efficiency and potential uses of uST complexes in Belarus.
The next lecture was delivered at the Faculty of Economics and Management of BSEU. This time, Viktor Garanin, along with Alexei Klimkov, Head of Research Division of the company, highlighted the innovative aspects and economic benefits of adopting string rail transport. The event was attended by the faculty’s Dean, Candidate of Sciences (Economics), Associate Professor Elena Petrichenko, faculty members and students posed numerous questions about the technical and economic aspects of uST technology and expressed their desire to visit the EcoTechnoPark for a hands-on experience with implemented transport and infrastructure solutions.
To conclude their visit, UST Inc. representatives engaged in discussions with faculty leadership about future collaborations in scientific and educational domains.
“We were particularly impressed by the warmth and enthusiasm of the professors and students. The Faculty of Economics and Management, being one of the university’s largest with nearly 2,000 students, and our partnership will be an important step for the advancing and promoting uST technology,” remarked Viktor Garanin.
