Visit of UST Inc. Representatives to Saint Petersburg Universities

Employees of Unitsky String Technologies Inc. visited universities in Saint Petersburg. The main purpose of the visit was to develop the scientific and educational direction of the parties, as well as to participate in the International Lean Congress 2025.
As a part of the business trip, the representatives of UST Inc. delivered a lecture to the management, faculty, and students of Saint Petersburg Electrotechnical University “LETI” and Saint Petersburg State University of Aerospace Instrumentation. The topic of the lecture was “uST String Rail Transport: Features, Efficiency, and Areas of Use”. The delegates also familiarized themselves with the university laboratories and the developments presented by students and scientists in the field of power and control electrical equipment.
Meetings were held with the leadership of these educational institutions to discuss further cooperation in the scientific and technical sphere. University representatives highly appreciated the scientific activities of UST Inc. and expressed interest in the company’s innovative developments.
At the end of the trip, the delegates participated in the International Lean Congress hosted at Saint Petersburg State University of Economics. The event provided an opportunity to learn about innovative Russian technologies in robotics and production automation through the introduction of digital twins, and to understand the challenges associated with the implementation of digital technologies in manufacturing.
The visit to the universities of Saint Petersburg was an important step towards strengthening partnerships, developing scientific research, and implementing advanced solutions. The negotiations held and the experience gained will serve as a foundation for further successful cooperation between UST Inc. and higher education institutions.
