UST Inc.’s Partner in Nepal Resumes Negotiations on a Project in the Kathmandu Valley

The Department of Railways under Nepal’s Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Transport announced that it had begun collecting research materials related to the operation of string transport in the Kathmandu Valley. The notice appeared in major national media outlets, including the Rajdhani Daily newspaper.
The announcement stated that organizations and institutions that have conducted or commissioned studies on string transport may submit their reports to the Department of Railways.This step will allow the authorities to gather existing analytical materials and provide them to the relevant governmental body.
By the way, the first two reports have already been submitted: one by the government organization of the Gokarneshwar Municipality and the other by the Kathmandu Podway organization.
The initiative reflects the renewed interest of Nepal’s new government in modern transport solutions and their potential role in improving urban mobility.
