UST Inc. Hosted the Republican Olympiad in Engineering Design CAD

Unitsky String Technologies Inc. held the 5th Republican Olympiad in Engineering CAD Design. The event was initiated by Mr. Sergey Pronkevich, Head of Engineering Calculations Design Office, as the leading Belarusian expert in this area.
The Olympiad brought together university and college students from all over the country. The participants had to build three-dimensional parts of a gearbox using drawings and correctly assemble them into a single unit. The competition task took 6 hours to complete. The assessment was based on the accuracy of parts and correctness of assembly.
"We strive to strengthen our team with talented young people. Such a competition is an opportunity to build a talent pool of the most worthy and promising candidates. By the way, today the company employs specialists who have previously participated in this competition," said Sergey Pronkevich, Head of Engineering Calculations Design Office.
The winner was Timofei Krukouski, a student of Brest State Technical University. The second place went to Daniil Lapkin, a student of Mogilev State Polytechnic College, and Kirill Ogurchonok, a student of Vitebsk State Technological University. Third prize was won by Andrei Markevich, a student of Minsk State Machine-Building College, which is a branch of BNTU, and Vsevolod Gerasimchik, a student of Belarusian National Technical University.
