String transport – on the path to interstate standardization

The Belarusian State Standard has made changes to the state standardization plan for 2025. The document includes an initiative by Unitsky String Technologies Inc. to develop interstate standards for string transport technology.

Interstate standards will strengthen the company's position in the transport services market

The plan for 2025 already included three national standards relating to passenger and cargo complexes. After their approval, the company initiated the transition to the interstate level, with the preparation of GOST standards that will be applied in the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU).

"This is an important milestone for the company, said Gennady Zubelevich, Head of Product Standardization and Certification at UST Inc. – We are entering the field of international technical regulation. GOST standards will allow uST complexes to be officially included in the EAEU regulatory system and used in the implementation of commercial projects in compliance with established requirements."

Making changes to the plan is only the first stage. Next, the initiative will be reviewed by the Interstate Council for Standardization, Metrology, and Certification of the CIS. Once approved, the preparation of relevant documents will begin with the participation of specialists from the Union countries.

Interstate standards will strengthen the company's position in the transport services market and ensure the application of technology within the framework of uniform rules and procedures.
