UST Inc. Named Major Scientific Developments for Q2 2024

Science is the driver of high-tech product development. That is why Unitsky String Technologies Inc. pays much attention to this vector. Agreements with leading technical universities, participation in events, publication of scientific articles – all this is just the final outcome of a lot of hard work, which is not always visible from the outside. What were the most notable events in the company's scientific activities over the past few months? 

SibSIU expert conclusion

Specialists of the Siberian State Industrial University, having analyzed uST Solution, recommended the introduction of uST technology in Russian regions. According to Sergey Konovalov, Vice-Rector for Scientific and Innovative Activities, Doctor of Engineering, and Professor, this will make regional economies more flexible and resistant to global challenges.

The university specially emphasized the availability and affordability of construction and structural materials required for the production of uST complexes. It was pointed out that all of them are produced by industrial enterprises of the Union State in significant volumes.

The SibSIU conclusion states that uST technology contributes not only to reducing the costs of transporting raw materials, but also to the development of the depth of their processing, influencing the innovative growth of the country as a whole.

Delegation from a Russian technical university

In April, the management of the Siberian State Industrial University visited our company's office. Rector Alexey Yuryev and Vice-Rector for Scientific and Innovative Activities Sergey Konovalov were informed about the specifics of the company's operations, as well as introduced to the activities of the design offices. Recall that UST Inc. and the university have signed an agreement on cooperation in the fields of science and education.

Representatives of the university were shown the production facilities of UST Inc. and the process of creating uPod hulls, motor wheels, engines, energy storage devices, machine vision and other elements of uST transport.

The guests appreciated the possibilities of uST transport and infrastructure complexes at the EcoTechnoPark. Anatoli Unitsky, the General Designer of UST Inc., led a tour of the test and demonstration center, where he explained the operation of the aboveground uST complexes and showed different configurations of electric rail vehicles.

uST presentations at universities in Belarus and Russia 

In May 2024, UST Inc. employees held classes on the topic of uST transport for students and teachers of the Belarusian State University and Samara State University of Railway Transport. Representatives of the company told about the advantages of string rail complexes, peculiarities of business processes in their construction and operation, areas of application, certification, efficiency and development prospects. In the same month, research and engineering company Unitsky String Technologies Inc. and Samara State University of Railway Transport signed an agreement on scientific and educational cooperation.

Article on the contribution of UST Inc. to the development of Belarusian scientific potential

The Belarusian Economic Journal published an article about the role of UST Inc. in the scientific and innovative development of the country. Its authors are the company's General Designer Anatoli Unitsky and General Director Nadezhda Kosareva. The article tells about how the company organizes research and innovation activities and implements its results in the design of uST complexes.

Scientific activities of UST Inc. – in a publication of the business media Office Life

The media resource Office Life published a piece on how science helps to promote business. The article notes that the UST Inc. management's bet on the development of science has paid off – in-house developments are implemented in the production of uST Transport & Infrastructure Complexes at all stages. This helps the company to attract the best personnel, create new materials and components, and compete with global manufacturers.
