UST Inc. develops interstate standards for string transport
UST Inc. is continuing to work on the development of interstate standards for string transport, which will be implemented throughout the EAEU. The development of GOST standards is part of the interstate standardization program for 2026-2027, which emphasizes the importance of uST technology for the member countries of the Union.
The new GOST standards provide terms and definitions, as well as establish requirements for passenger and freight string transport means. The documents have already been internally approved and have been published on the Gosstandard portal for further review. In particular, they will be subject to public discussion and refinement by interested parties and relevant authorities.
The adoption of interstate GOST standards would create clear guidelines for designers, customers, and regulators. The company will be able to officially offer its solutions on the markets of the EAEU countries as a technology that complies with common regulatory requirements. This will streamline the process of project certification and contract signing. Moreover, it will eliminate obstacles to the integration of string transport into existing infrastructure projects.
