UST Inc. anticipates the stabilization of the situation in Nepal
UST Inc.'s partner in Nepal, Kathmandu Podway Pvt. Ltd., which is actively working to implement string transport projects in the region, has encountered difficulties in its work due to political instability in the country.
The Nepalese capital Kathmandu is currently under a partial curfew, and movement within the city is only permitted with the permission of the local authorities. Despite the difficult situation, the Kathmandu Podway Pvt. Ltd office is safe, the employees are unharmed, and all property is intact.
Until the situation stabilizes, some of Kathmandu Podway Pvt. Ltd will be suspended, as official approval is required to continue. According to forecasts by our partner in the region, the interruption will last approximately three to six months.
The company is closely monitoring developments, maintaining its unwavering commitment to long-term cooperation with Nepal and looking forward to a swift return to project implementation once the situation stabilizes.
