The 8th Global Conference on Near-Space Industrialization has concluded in Belarus

From September 12 to 13, 2025, the 8th Global Conference on Near-Space Industrialization took place in Maryina Gorka (Republic of Belarus). Held under the motto “Earth is for life. Space is for industry,” the event brought together over 500 participants both in person and online. Among them were leading scientists, engineers, entrepreneurs, and government officials from various countries.

The forum featured 44 scientific presentations and discussions across four sections: technology, energy, biology, and social issues. Participants discussed a wide range of issues, from geospace technologies and new materials to the social aspects of space exploration. The central theme of the forum was the General Planetary Vehicle (GPV) project developed by Anatoli Unitsky, the General Designer of UST Inc. This unique non-rocket technology is considered the only feasible transport and logistics solution from an engineering standpoint for large-scale industrial exploration of near space.

Several significant events took place at the conference: the signing of an agreement and exchange of letters between the State Secretary of the Union State and the chairman of the organizing committee; the approval of the updated EcoSpace program; and the decision to strengthen international cooperation among countries, organizations, companies, and universities to advance the implementation of the uSpace cosmic exploration program.

Over its eight years of existence, the conference has brought together more than 10,000 participants from 50 countries, establishing itself as a landmark event in the field of space technology. Following the event, a collection of scientific papers presented at the conference will be published and distributed through leading libraries worldwide, as well as on electronic platforms and scientific portals.

The next, 9th Global Conference on Near Space Industrialization will be held in 2026. Strategic partners, key international organizations, leading research centers, and heads of state are expected to take part in the event.
