UST Inc. Representative Office in Indonesia Is Working out Several Projects for Implementation of uST Complexes in the Region
Marketing company Unitsky Nusantara Technologies LLC continues active dialog with the representatives of Indonesian authorities and large businesses. Some of the negotiations have resulted in more detailed discussions on the application of transport and infrastructure complexes in the region. Specific projects are being worked out to implement both passenger and cargo uST solutions.
As previously reported, UST Inc. has intensified its activities in Indonesia. And if at the initial stage there was a process of establishing and strengthening the contacts with customers and local authorities, now there are fruitful negotiations on the application of uST complexes, underlined Alsim Mamedov, CEO of Unitsky Nusantara Technologies LLC:
"Indonesia, due to its geographical features, is a very promising market for us. Our Jakarta office continues to actively work on solutions for the application of the technology both in the capital city and throughout the country. Several projects for the implementation of transport and infrastructure solutions by Unitsky String Technologies Inc. are at different stages of development".
One of the routes under development should solve the problem of delivering passengers to the business center of a large city from its outskirts. The existing transport infrastructure meets the demand by only 20%. The solution from UST Inc. will make it possible to cover the nearly 30-kilometer distance in 21 minutes thanks to the high speed of uBuses and the elevated location of the track structure. The sixteen-seat uBuses will carry more than 30,000 passengers in a day.
The work is also underway on cargo solutions: the project for a cement plant with a track length of 1.1 km is being detailed. Two uTrucks are capable of carrying 8 tons of cargo per trip. The cargo body is suggested to be made in the form of a swap cargo module, which will minimize the interaction of personnel with the uTruck.
Another project is a development project: a passenger single-track route is being worked out to connect the new urban development with the railway station. The length of the route is about a kilometer. The initial version of the complex is designed to carry 14,000 passengers/day, but it is planned to double it in 15 years.
"In addition, we recently had a meeting with the mayor of a city in Indonesia. During it, we drove along the planned route and discussed variants of the uST complex application. This will be a passenger route with a length of 6 kilometers. The city authorities intend to significantly modernize the existing transport infrastructure and lay new routes that will contribute to the development of the city districts,” said Alsim Mamedov.
The uST solutions under development will solve Indonesia's transport problems without rebuilding infrastructure or incurring high costs, and will ensure fast, reliable and safe transportation of passengers and cargo. All efforts of the Jakarta office are now focused on the implementation of the first projects. It is certainly the projects that should give impetus to the widespread introduction of uST technology in the region.
