Minsk-Smolevichi in 15 minutes: UST Inc.’s solution
UST Inc. is actively pursuing new projects and is currently engaged in negotiations in various countries, including Belarus. Recently, the company's commercial department and engineering team proposed a project to connect the capital city with the satellite town of Smolevichi. Its implementation will make trips faster, more comfortable and environmentally friendly.

The head of the country also emphasized the importance of such initiatives during his recent visit to the reconstructed Loshitsky complex. According to Sputnik news, he said, "We are considering how to connect these areas to Minsk by fast means of transport. It could be a railway or monorail. Let's see which is cheaper and which suits us best. So that people can travel from Dzerzhinsk to Minsk in 10 minutes."
The UST Inc. project envisions the construction of a string rail overpass that will enable travelers to cover a distance of 26 kilometers between cities in just 15 minutes. The maximum capacity will be 20,000 passengers per hour. Each 30 seconds 42-seater uPods will run along an automated double-track route with five stations. This will significantly reduce the burden on the existing road network and solve the issues of congestion during peak times.

An important advantage of the project is its safety. Transportation takes place on an elevated overpass, minimizing the risk of accidents. For the locals and visitors of the area, string transport will offer not only a convenient way to reach the capital, but also a superior level of comfort with no need for lengthy stops and transfers.
The project's commitment to environmental sustainability is clear due to its minimal carbon footprint, thanks to the use of unmanned electric rail vehicles equipped with steel wheels.
The project fully complies with international and national standards, and all technological solutions have passed the necessary testing and certification processes. The integration of uST technologies into the existing transportation network will not only enhance the efficiency and convenience of travel, but also make satellite towns more appealing for residents.
Of course, the decision on the implementation of the proposed project should be made by the appropriate expert bodies. UST Inc. offers comprehensive assistance to professionals in supplying the required data.
