What does a passenger feel inside a uBus Karat at a speed of 120 km/h?
Sergey Razuyeu, CEO of the uSky Test and Certification Center, personally tested the flagship uBus Karat at speeds of 100 and 120 km/h and shared his impressions in the video.
In particular, the manager noted the high level of comfort and smooth operation – while traveling at high speed, Sergey Razuyeu didn’t even need to hold on to the handrails.
Such indicators are largely ensured by the special design of the uST complex track, which is a continuous welded string-rail track with no temperature seams, while wheels, string rail and anchoring structures all being damped out. Additionally, two-stage pneumatic suspension provides smooth movement similar to that of business class cars and significantly reduces noise levels.
Recall that earlier, Vitaly Lapkovsky, the Chief Designer of the High-Speed Transport Complex at UST Inc., mentioned that during the demonstration runs, the scores inside the Karat were in the "very good" and "excellent" range.
