uST Solutions Were Presented at the IX Biennale "Architecture of St. Petersburg"
The Biennale in St. Petersburg is one of the major Russian events in the field of architecture and has become an important platform for discussing the future of cities. During the session "Petersburg. The Future", transport and infrastructure solutions from Unitsky String Technologies Inc were presented.
The Biennale was attended by developers and investment companies. Leading architects, designers, urbanists, manufacturers, consultants, teachers, cultural and artistic figures has also joined the project. Heads of relevant departments from the governments of St. Petersburg, Moscow, and other Russian regions were present as well.
During the session "Petersburg. The Future", topics such as innovations in architecture, eco-friendly solutions for cities, the use of eco-materials, and nature-friendly technologies were discussed.
Arsen Babayan, a representative of UST Inc., stressed that uST transport is a future that has already arrived. "It is being implemented in R&D centers in Belarus and the UAE, and the technology is being considered for use in many countries around the world, including Russia," he said.
In his speech, the delegate also spoke about the areas of application for string rail transport, its differences from cable cars, and the routes that are currently being considered for implementation in St. Petersburg.
In addition, Arsen Babayan highlighted the main requirements for transport that meets the demands of modern times: movement above the ground, low material consumption, environmental friendliness, unmanned control, and operation on electricity. These criteria are all taken into account in the development of uST transport and infrastructure complexes.
