UST Inc. has retrained its specialists

The training course "Operation of String Transport Complexes" was developed in collaboration with the Intersectoral Institute for Advanced Training and Retraining in Personnel Management and Development and the Belarusian State Technical University. The primary goal of the training is to prepare professionals responsible for the safe and reliable operation of uST complexes.

The goals and objectives of the program

Professional development of employees is not only about updating knowledge, but also a strategic tool for the growth of a company that is ready to implement its engineering solutions on a large scale. The program was created with a focus on the needs of the current engineering sector and the unique characteristics of uST transport.

Special attention was given to the staff responsible for the technical maintenance of the string rail overpass, rolling stock, and control systems. The program enhanced the participants' comprehension of the inner workings of the uST transport complex and its operational nuances.

How was the training carried out?

The retraining program consisted of lectures, seminars, and hands-on activities aimed at enhancing essential skills. The educational process took place in the BSTU's well-equipped classrooms and laboratories, which use modern technical training tools and digital simulators.

The team comprises experts from Unitsky String Technologies Inc. and faculty members from BSTU with expertise in transportation and engineering.
The course participants learned about the design and operation principles of uST string rail complexes, as well as issues related to energy efficiency, system reliability, and diagnostics. Aspects of maintenance, motion control, and the interaction between various subsystems were also considered.

The first graduation is the first step towards a continuous learning system

All the company's specialists involved have received a state-issued certificate confirming the development of the program in accordance with modern educational standards.

This format of cooperation between the university and the engineering company, UST Inc., allows to strengthen human resources and create a stable system for training specialists to operate uST transport and infrastructure complexes on an international level.

“For us, learning has become a platform where theory and practice converge, and innovation and experience collide,” the participants of the program remarked. According to them, the acquired knowledge will help solve engineering problems more efficiently and contribute to the further development of string transport.
