The General Director of UST Inc. speaks about current logistics trends in 2023
The transport industry is facing challenges that force it to look for new logistics corridors, develop alternative routes and implement innovative solutions. But not all companies are able to adapt successfully, since the business is not ready for drastic changes on a global scale. Is it effective to return to the old algorithms of work when organizing cargo transportation? Or is it worth paying attention to new technologies? The General Director of UST Inc. shares her opinion in a publication on HighTech+.
When adapting to the current realities, logistics companies need to focus on the trends emerging in 2022-2023. Monitoring new trends will allow you to keep up with the times and meet business needs. However, in pursuit of fashionable, but not yet proven effective AI technologies, do not forget about already implemented automated solutions, such as uST Transport and Infrastructure Complexes.
According to Nadezhda Kosareva, today “transport workers” have to quickly solve current tasks and act as pioneers who need to rebuild the way the cargo transportation area works.
“The launch of autonomous electric vehicles on steel wheels that move along aboveground tracks can be a starting point for the restructuring and renewal of the entire industry”.
