Applications for the UST Inc. International Scientific Paper Competition Are Still Open
Unitsky String Technologies Inc. invites young, talented scientists to showcase their expertise and knowledge in the field of string rail transport and uST technologies by participating in its international scientific competition. Eligible participants include students, master’s students, postgraduates, and doctoral candidates from both Belarusian and foreign universities. Applications can also be submitted jointly with academic supervisors.
To join the competition, participants must complete a special application form available on the official website. The application deadline is February 28, 2025. Winners and runners-up will be announced at the end of September. Participation in the competition is free of charge, with a total prize fund exceeding $12,000.
The scientific work topics can be selected from the list recommended in the Competition Regulations or proposed by participants, provided they align with uST technology. Submissions can also serve as coursework, theses, or other academic projects.
The competition features seven thematic sections for scientific papers:
- Rolling Stock.
- String Rail Overpass.
- Architecture and Design.
- Automated Control and Communication System.
- Calculations and Modeling.
- Material Solutions.
- Economic and Logistical Aspects.
The completed papers must be submitted to [email protected] by June 30, 2025. The submissions will be evaluated by a dedicated commission of experts led by Anatoli Unitsky, General Designer of UST Inc.
This marks the third competition organized by UST Inc., with the previous ones held in 2020 and 2023. The company continues to foster strong collaborations with scientific and educational institutions worldwide.
