A Lecture Hall Dedicated to String Transport Technologies Opens at One of Kuzbass’ Leading Universities

A lecture hall dedicated to string transport technologies has opened at Siberian State Industrial University (SSIU). The room was created with the aim of promoting uST solutions in a region with high potential for their implementation.

The space, located in one of the university buildings, is designed in accordance with the uST brand book and is a specialized training room. The auditorium work will help popularize string transport in the region, where the prospects for its use are particularly high, including in the coal mining industry.

The string transport technology auditorium became part of a large-scale renovation of SSIU’s infrastructure, carried out in connection with the university’s 95th anniversary. The modernization goal is to create a modern educational environment for training specialists in demand within the Kuzbass economy.

The branded auditorium is the result of cooperation between SSIU and UST Inc. in the educational and scientific fields. The company delivers lectures to students, participates in conferences, and publishes materials on uST transport in the university’s scientific journal. In turn, the university hosts presentations for partners and guests in the new auditorium and conducts classes for students.

It should be noted that in 2024, Alexey Yuryev, Rector of SSIU, visited the UST Inc.’s office, and master’s student Elena Karnaushenko completed an internship at the company as part of her scientific research. In 2025, Sergey Artyushevsky, Deputy General Designer for Science at UST Inc., paid a return visit to the university. These interactions confirm a strong commitment to continuing mutually beneficial cooperation in training specialists to implement uST solutions at industrial enterprises in the region.
