Two R&D studies byUST Inc. officially completed
We are pleased to inform you that in August two UST Inc. research works (R&D), registered earlier in the state register at the State Enterprise BelISA, were completed and accepted in accordance with the established procedure.
The studies are the following:
- “Study of impact energy absorption by vehicle restraint systems in case of their emergency collision with obstacle” (Research Supervisor – Head of Design Bureau “Engineering Calculations”, Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sci., S.A. Pronkevich, Principal Investigator – Head of the Group for Dynamical Analysis of the Design Bureau “Engineering Calculations”, V.A. Ovsyanko) (Letter_BelISA);
- “To develop and implement a methodology for determining stress-strain properties of adhesive joints depending on thickness of adhesive layer” (Research Supervisor – Deputy General Designer for Science, S.V. Artyushevskiy, Principal Investigator – Head of the New Materials Laboratory, A.A. Shibut) (Letter_BelISA).
The results of each of the studies, at the stage of implementation thereof, have matched with practical application in the activities of uST, and will be used and improved further.
This event is significant, also including the fact that these works became the third and fourth for the company, respectively, which are registered in the state register and officially completed.
We wish to thank the investigators and executors of scientific projects and all participants in the process for their prompt professional participation and valuable assistance at all stages of work, high level of research performance and ultimate focus on the results.
The figures below show individual fragments (results) of performance of each of the studies.
