UST Inc. has signed an agreement with the largest branch of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus

Unitsky String Technologies Inc. has concluded an agreement on joint work in the scientific and technical sphere with the largest of seven subdivisions of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, namely the Department of Physical and Technical Sciences.
The main objective of the agreement is to strengthen and develop scientific, technical and innovative cooperation by initiating and implementing scientific developments in priority areas of mutual interest.
“The Department of Physical and Technical Sciences leads a number of scientific institutes whose profile is related to the main areas of UST Inc’s work. We hope that the conclusion of the agreement will serve as the beginning of fruitful cooperation between the parties along with exchange of experience and implementation of joint projects”, said Alexey Klimkov, Head of the Research Division of UST Inc.
UST Inc. actively cooperates with Belarusian and foreign scientific organizations. In 2023 alone, the company concluded five agreements on cooperation with scientific and educational institutions, which includes three contracts signed with organizations of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus.
Considerable emphasis is placed on developing the capacity of the company’s staff. So, today at UST Inc. work 13 doctors of philosophy, most of whom have the title of assistant professor. In the last three years alone, the company’s specialists have completed more than 50 scientific works (including 8 projects with state registration) and published more than 130 articles and materials of international conferences.

The Department of Physical and Technical Sciences of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus has 23 scientific organizations attached to it. They employ about 1310 people, including 860 researchers. Among the department employees there are 82 doctors of science and 212 doctors of philosophy.
