Mass Media: uST Transport and Infrastructure Solutions to Make Life in the Far North Comfortable

Last week, the International Arctic Summit ended in Russia. During the event, Unitsky String Technologies Inc. offered solutions on the development of the Far North. They have aroused interest not only among the forum participants, but also among many Russian media.
One of the most detailed materials on its website was posted by PolitExpert, a socio–political magazine covering the most significant events in Russia and in the world. The publication describes the advantages of string transport in permafrost conditions.
The author of the material notes that the transport and infrastructure complexes of Unitsky String Technologies Inc. operate at temperatures from -60 to +60 ° C and under all weather conditions. They can be implemented in areas where it is difficult to lay paved roads or railways. String transport moves above the ground – it does not need a solid covering, and the track structure (string-rail overpass) is supported on anchor and intermediate supports with a span of up to 2,000 meters. In addition, uST electric rail vehicles are equipped with a self-cleaning system: steel wheels of string transport themselves clean snow and icing from the rails. Vehicles can be heated in winter and cooled in summer. And this requires minimal costs.
uST transport and infrastructure complexes are much safer than cable cars. And even less-costly and more accessible. All that is due to the energy efficiency of electric vehicles on steel wheels, which move along a steel track with minimal resistance.
