Expert: String Transport – A Road to the Future for Belarus and China

In an interview with the Belarusian TV channel First Informational, Viktor Saevich, lecturer at the Belarusian State Economic University and Master of Political Science, highlighted the special role of string transport in strengthening the Belarusian-Chinese partnership.

According to the expert, this technology has the potential to elevate cooperation between the two countries to a new strategic level, becoming not merely an innovation but a practical tool for uniting Eurasia. Saevich emphasized that the transition from traditional trade to joint production is a key driver of growth, with string transport technologies, robotization, and mechanical engineering forming the foundation for new industrial cooperation.

Viktor Saevich expressed confidence that the development of string transport – already undergoing testing in Maryina Gorka – opens up significant opportunities for both Belarus and China. In his view, the implementation of this technology could enable the creation of a high-tech transport corridor of the future from Minsk to Beijing, addressing critical logistics challenges across Eurasia.
